The Dining Room in the Main House

In the Dining Room of the Main House at Borregaard, guests are invited to breakfast, lunch, and dinner in surroundings shaped by history, art, and craftsmanship. Intimate tables are set with white linen, crystal glassware, and Blue Flower porcelain from Royal Copenhagen. Large paintings, custom-woven carpets, and chandeliers lend the room its distinctive elegance, while antiques and classic mahogany furniture create a calm, manor-like atmosphere.

The Thrane Rooms – Grand Private Salons in the Main House

On the second floor of the Main House at Borregaard, you will find the Thrane Rooms: Judith, Kristine, Waldemar, and Paul. Each salon proudly carries its historic name and offers a distinct atmosphere. Guests are welcomed by elegant chandeliers, large works of art, carefully selected antiques, and carpets specially woven for the house.
